Steve Darnell is a 12 year United States Navy veteran who served during the
Reagan/Bush administrations.
After being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1990, Steve began working as
a consultant for the Savannah River Site, a nuclear weapons facility in Aiken,
South Carolina.
He left SRS in 1996 and began working as a consultant on several overseas
assignments. His job took him on extended trips to Goa, India, Jubail, Saudi
Arabia and Suzhou, China.
Steve later spent three years working in Shenzhen, China.
Steve currently writes a weekly column for the English version of the Russian
newspaper Pravda. He began writing for Pravda in 2004 and later began
self-syndicating the column. He is also a regular contributor to NewsMax, Arab
News and other small newspapers around the United States.
His unique "hard hitting" writing style combined with his real life experiences
bring a refreshing change to what most people expect from a political columnist.
